Nothing signals the importance of education to your child as much as your interest and involvement. The Sheridan Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) strives to work with the school to strengthen and enrich our students’ learning experience.
The Sheridan PTO is made up of energetic, dedicated parents and caregivers working together to enhance the work of the teachers and staff for the success of all children at Sheridan. We provide them and our children with volunteer hours, supplies, special events, support and extra opportunities to learn and grow when and where it is needed.
PTO Activities
The PTO organizes and financially supports many projects, including busing for field trips, classroom parties, classroom support for teachers, Sheridan Shark shirts for all new students, fun all-school events, filling the reading room with books, meals for staff during PT Conferences, and maintaining school landscaping. Our Outdoor Classroom, created and maintained by our PTO, was designed to meet specific school science curriculum standards and needs. It is available to Sheridan students, staff, and families.
None of this could be done without the grateful support of the Parents/Sheridan Community through financial and other donations throughout the entire year. Anyone can make a financial donation anytime throughout the year on our website. Currently our PTO does not participate in fundraisers such as selling items, thus rely solely on your generous donations.
